We are excited to announce that our product 1450 – Mountain Tea was distinguished for the third time among thousands of contestants with a gold star at the Great Taste Awards 2021 in London.
The international gastronomic competition Great Taste Awards is one of the most important gastronomic competitions in the world that awards the best food and drinks. Five hundred (500) demanding judges and taste experts in a period of 180 days of taste tests, tried with a “blind” test 14,113 products from 120 countries, to reward those who stand out for their taste.
The Great Taste Awards 202 judges said:
”These are excellent quality, fat-budded blossoms clearly picked at the prime time. They give a crystal clear pale gold liquor and a clean aroma on the nose with attractive hints of olive oil. On the palate, it has the immediately recognisable softly herbal character of sideritis and is both refreshing and uplifting. A good quality example of its type.
These flowers respond to a light squeezing with a gentle citrussy aroma. The infusion is mild, with a cooling mouthfeel, and a slightly citrussy but also sweet finish.
A very attractive and well prepared herb with lovely flower heads. The infusion is clear and shiny. The nose is gentle and not astringent at all – quite mellow. The flavour is clean and crisp with its characteristic astringency on the long finish.”
